Scope of work
Every engagement starts with a written scope. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins.
Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, projects are invoiced in stages with a deposit up front. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance.
Intellectual property
On final payment, ownership of the delivered code and design passes to you. We keep the right to describe the work publicly unless you ask us not to.
Third-party services
Projects often rely on third-party platforms and libraries. Their own terms and costs apply and are not included in our fees.
Warranty and support
We fix defects in our work free of charge for 30 days after launch. Beyond that, support is available under a retainer.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
Free WordPress plugins
Our free plugins are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. They are licensed under the GPL (version 2 or later); nothing in these terms limits the rights that licence gives you.
Back up first. A migration tool copies and replaces files and databases. Before you run an export, import or restore, make a full backup of every site involved and check that you can restore it. You are responsible for your backups and for testing on a staging site where possible.
Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, downtime, lost revenue or other damage arising from the use of our free plugins.
Support. Free plugins come with best-effort support through the plugin's support forum. We do not guarantee a response time.
